Sampson Associates have been working with schools on education projects since 1990. Projects range in value from £20,000 to £10m and cover refurbishment and repairs to major new builds. We have worked for more than 30 different schools and have also carried out projects directly for The London Borough of Brent. We take the view that no project is too small and we are always willing to offer schools advice without charge to help get projects going. We have helped produce scheme design proposals and cost advice in order for schools to obtain funding for projects.

We have worked on the following types of project:

  • Refurbishment of classrooms
  • Refurbishment of specialist classrooms i.e. music/science/technology/IT/library/dining/staff room/gymnasium/food technology/art & textiles
  • New build 6th form special needs/new 6th form building/new gymnasium/new music department/new city learning centre/new nursery building/new library/new pupil referral unit/new classroom blocks/new school main entrance and administration building/new primary school extension
  • Repair projects/replacement windows/new roofs/asbestos removal/rewiring/new heating and plumbing/landscape works and playgrounds

We work closely with staff and governors to deliver the school's requirements on time and on budget. We know how important school budgets are and because we offer Quantity Surveying services we are able to give reliable cost advice at an early stage of the project.

We aim to produce innovative and high quality solutions to a budget, creating a learning environment where pupils and staff can excel.

We are also proud to have designed the Nordoff Robbins Music Therapy Centre in Highgate, London. The first specialist music therapy building ever built.
